Google is beginning to let some advertisers apply for Social Casino Games certifications directly within their Google Ads accounts, streamlining a process that previously required using the Google Ads Help Center.<\/p>
The rollout is gradual, meaning not all advertisers will see the new option immediately.<\/p>
What\u2019s new<\/strong>. Starting in August, eligible advertisers will begin seeing a new certification workflow inside Google Ads.<\/p>
Instead of applying through the Google Ads Help Center, some advertisers will be able to submit Social Casino Games certification requests from a new Policy > Account section under Admin.<\/p>
Google said advertisers who don\u2019t yet have access can continue using the existing Help Center application process.<\/p>
The company also confirmed that:<\/p>
Existing Social Casino Games certifications will remain valid.<\/li>
Pending certification applications won\u2019t be affected by the rollout.<\/li>
The feature will be introduced incrementally, so availability will vary by account.<\/li> <\/ul>

Why we care<\/strong>. While this isn\u2019t a change to Google\u2019s advertising policies, it does simplify compliance for affected advertisers. Bringing certifications into the Google Ads interface reduces friction by allowing advertisers to manage policy approvals alongside the rest of their account settings, potentially making the certification process easier to track and maintain.<\/p>
Bottom line<\/strong>. Google is making it easier for eligible advertisers to apply for Social Casino Games and copyright certifications by moving the process into Google Ads, though the change will roll out gradually and existing certifications remain unaffected.<\/p>
