Salaries here typically range from \u20b93\u201320 LPA. \u201c\u20b970 LPA: Almost non-existent except for 10+ year old roles,\u201d he noted.<\/p> <p>Mid-tier product companies and Global Capability Centres, including Oracle, Dell, IBM\u00a0and Goldman Sachs, make up about 20\u201325% of the ecosystem. Salaries in this segment usually fall between \u20b915\u201345 LPA, with \u20b970 LPA limited to the \u201ctop 5\u201310% only\u201d, he explained.<\/p> <p>In the startup space, which accounts for 5\u201310% of engineers, compensation ranges between \u20b920\u201370 LPA along with ESOPs. Companies like Swiggy, Flipkart, Razorpay\u00a0and CRED\u00a0fall in this category.<\/p> <p>However, he clarified that \u201c\u20b970 LPA: Upper band, not median (but good starting pays).\u201d<\/p> <p>At the top are elite firms such as Google, Meta, Amazon, Uber\u00a0and Tower Research Capital. These account for just 2\u20135% of the ecosystem but offer salaries ranging from \u20b940\u201380+ LPA, sometimes crossing \u20b91 crore. In this segment, \u20b970 LPA is \u201ccommon within this small group,\u201d he pointed out.<\/p> <p>Looking at the ecosystem as a whole, he stated that the weighted average salary in Bangalore\u00a0is around \u20b918\u201320 LPA.
