Gemini, Claude, Mistral, GPT 5.2, llms.txt – SEOPress 9.5

SEOPress 9.5 is now available. We encourage you to update your site as soon as possible to take advantage of the latest features, improvements, and fixes.

🎉 New AI providers to SEOPress PRO

Currently SEOPress PRO integrates with OpenAI and DeepSeek. With our latest update, you can now use Google Gemini, Mistral AI and Claude by Anthropic to easily generate meta title, description and alternative text for your images.

Go to SEO, PRO, AI tab to start using these new LLM like Claude Sonnet 4, Pixtral Large or Gemini 2.0.

We have also updated GPT 5 to version 5.2 to get the latest available version of this model from OpenAI.

🎉 New – llms.txt file

SEOPress 9.5 introduces support for llms.txt, a new, emerging standard designed to help large language models better understand and consume your site’s content. The idea is to provide a curated, machine-friendly entry point for AI systems, similar in spirit to robots.txt or sitemap.xml, but tailored for LLMs.

While this is a forward-looking feature and a smart way to prepare your site for future AI-driven discovery, it’s important to note that, for now, most LLMs do not actively rely on llms.txt in a meaningful or standardized way.

In other words, it’s not a ranking lever or traffic driver today, but it positions your site ahead of the curve as AI crawling and content attribution continue to evolve.

You can activate this feature from SEO, PRO, llms.txt tab.

🎉 New – ProfilePage schema

You can now automatically add the ProfilePage schema to author archive page to improve E-E-A-T.

To do to that, go to SEO, PRO, Structured data types tab, and check “Add ProfilePage schema markup to author archive pages for improved E-E-A-T signals” option.

Author can individually disable this from their profile page.

🎉 Elementor integration deprecated in favor of our Universal SEO metabox

Over 5 years ago, we introduced a dedicated SEOPress integration for Elementor to make SEO editing easier, so you didn’t have to keep switching back and forth with the native WordPress editor. We then went further by launching the universal SEO metabox, exclusively designed to work with all page builders.

Today, we’re evolving SEOPress by focusing on this universal SEO metabox. More powerful than ever, this metabox supports schemas (something that wasn’t possible with the Elementor one) while offering a more robust, easier-to-maintain foundation. The result? A consistent, reliable, and unified experience for all users, no matter which page builder they use.

Speaking of the universal SEO metabox, we’ve updated it to use WordPress’s built-in React instead of our custom version. This not only reduces potential conflicts with other plugins and themes, but also ensures better compatibility with WordPress updates, and provides a stronger foundation for the future of SEOPress.
