Google is testing updating the Google Discover publisher pages by adding custom links, featured posts, larger header images and sharper logos. I assume this would be managed by claiming your page?
As a reminder, Google began rolling out Google Discover publisher pages last August and made it official a month later. Google has been tweaking these pages since.
This update was spotted by Damien (andell) who posted these screenshots on X – you can compare the one on the left to the two on the right:

Eligible publishers could choose the “Links” and “Pinned” features, formerly Featured Posts (see screenshots).
And it seems they can now choose the order of their social media and website links.
The same applies to the “Articles” tab and different social media profiles.
See the examples with NewsWeek, which has YouTube first, then “Articles” second.
For Delish, we see “Website” first, then Instagram second, and so on.
I should point out that previously, the order was based on social media follower count.
Oh, I translated these pages using Google Translate, so it didn’t come out perfectly.
Forum discussion at X.
