🎉 New – Add a SEO icon to the Block Editor
This is the first step towards better SEOPress integration within the block editor.
Since many versions of WordPress, and even more so with 6.9, the traditional metabox area has been disappearing. We are working to offer a more user-friendly solution that is compatible with all page editors and builders.
Now, if you have enabled the universal SEO metabox for the Block Editor from SEO, Advanced, Appearance tab, you will a new SEOPress icon from the top bar (see below):

For the last major update of this year 2025, we have taken special care to resolve many small bugs, to add prevention to avoid certain bugs and conflicts, while also facilitating code maintenance.
